Barkada Tumulong was born from the lived experiences of its co-founder, Fred Tomas who grew up surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Hawaii and deeply connected to Filipino heritage. Inspired by the spirit of Aloha and the value of bayanihan (community unity), the organization reflects a blend of cultural pride and compassion. What began as a vision shared by a close-knit group of friends has grown into a mission-driven movement, dedicated to uplifting both local and international communities through meaningful acts of kindness, resilience, and hope.
